SCVCN Hapex - Transclucent / Blue & Green Lens

4.6 (11)
€29.99

The SCVCN Hapex is a full-coverage cycling and running shield built for speed. The translucent frame is lightweight TR90 with a tall, distortion-free single lens for an uninterrupted field of view in the drops. This colourway pairs the clear frame with a blue-and-green mirror lens that cuts glare on bright rides while keeping contrast sharp on the road. Adjustable nose pad and hydrophilic temple tips lock the fit as your pace and sweat rate climb, and the vented lens top resists fogging on climbs. Includes a protective case and microfibre pouch.

Cuts snow and wet-road glare dead

Early season rides with snow still on the verges are brutal for glare. The blue mirror knocks it right down without making everything dim.

Bright sun lens that still breathes

Does everything a dark lens should on a hot day and the venting means no fog when you slow for a hairpin. Very light on the face too.

Excellent, big on the face

Coverage is brilliant for keeping wind out of your eyes on descents. If you have a smaller head they might look oversized — they do the job though.

Perfect for lake-reflected light

Lots of my riding is along water. The blue-green mirror handles the reflected glare better than any lens I've tried at this price.

Race pair, no notes

Light, secure, clear optics right to the edge. Wore them for a crit in full sun and never thought about them once, which is the whole point.

Great in the sun, dark for the shade

This is a proper bright-light lens. On a route with long forest sections I found myself wanting to take them off. If you ride mostly open roads, ignore that.
